1. Read the paragraph. Fill in the blanks with words from the book.

3. Complete each analogy with a word from the unit. Follow the example.

An analogy is a way to show different kinds of relationships between words. Below you can see some examples. The sentence in brackets is how we read an analogy aloud.

Example 1: finger : hand :: toe : foot (Finger is to hand as toe is to foot.) A finger is part of a hand and a toe is part of a foot.
