C. Reading Comprehension and Set Books

6. Read the following passage, then answer the questions.

Al Ahram newspaper is published daily and includes local and international news in politics, sports and economics, as well as advertisements. Reading it is one of the important methods of knowing what is happening around the world. Even in our age of advanced computer technology, newspapers continue to be an essential part of everyday life.

It is important to know the sections of the newspaper and the information each one contains. For example, the front page provides the most important stories of the day. Each event or story has a headline and the name of the journalist who wrote it. The classified section of a newspaper is where advertisements are placed. Those who want to apply for a job, buy or sell a house or a car, are interested in this section. Anyone who has things to sell or a job they wish to advertise for can buy space in this section. The number of words and the size of the advertisement determine its cost. Big companies usually buy whole pages to publish their advertisements.
